Need Information About Abortion?
Your advocate will educate you about different abortion procedures, their side effects and possible complications, so you can make an informed decision.
Before you travel out of state, know for sure.
Get these questions answered FIRST:
- Am I really pregnant? A significant percentage of pregnancies end on their own. Since a positive pregnancy test can’t medically confirm that you are pregnant, you need to have an ultrasound to confirm that you really are.
- How far along am I? Knowing exactly how far along you are determines what type of abortion you could get and how much it will cost you.
- Do I have an STD? Before you schedule an abortion procedure you need to have STD testing. It’s important to know if you have an STD like Chlamydia or Gonorrhea and be treated before you have an abortion, so you can protect your ability to become pregnant in the future.
